The essential oil obtained from the aerial parts of the plant through hydrodistillation was analyzed using GC and GC–MS techniques. A total of fifteen compounds were identified, accounting for 99.3% of the total oil composition. The predominant constituents were carvacrol (85.9%), thymol (3.3%), p-cymene (3.2%), ?-terpinene (1.8%), and borneol (1.3%), collectively representing 95.6% of the oil.
